Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Request for Applications (RFA)
The City of Seaside is seeking qualified non-profit organizations to carry out the following public service activities to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus pandemic:
· Host pop-up COVID-19 testing and vaccination clinics
· Provide meals to low- and moderate-income Seaside residents who are required to quarantine due to COVID-19
· Distribute food boxes to low- and moderate income Seaside residents who are required to quarantine due to COVID-19
All interested parties are encouraged to submit their applications online at www.citydataservices.com by 5 p.m., March 31, 2021. Please refer to the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and Request for Applications (RFA) for additional information.
Proposed FY2021-22 Annual Action Plan
The City of Seaside has drafted its FY2021-22 Annual Action Plan and invites all interested parties to review the draft plan and submit any comments by no later than 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021. The Seaside City Council will consider the draft 2021-2022 Annual Action Plan for adoption during a public hearing on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. For more information on how submit comments and watch the upcoming City Council meeting, please refer to the attached Notice of Public Review and Public Hearing below.
Proposed Substantial Amendment to the FY2020-2021 Annual Action Plan
On September 11, 2020, U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) posted the third (final) round of the supplemental Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV3) allocations that Congress appropriated by the CARES Act. The City of Seaside’s CDBG-CV3 allocation amount is $360,289. In order for the City to receive this allocation, the City must execute a substantial amendment to its approved 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and 2020-2021 Annual Action Plan (AAP), and submit to HUD for approval. In order to satisfy HUD’s requirement and receive the allocated CDBG-CV3 funds, the City has drafted a Substantial Amendment to the FY2020-21 AAP and is available for public review below. The City Council will consider this Substantial on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Please refer to the attachments linked below for additional information.
